bad news..

Julia has conquered climbing the stairs. I would think we would be happy, but anytime she may slip and tumble. We were shocked to see on February 13, 2010, my sister coming from playing outside (snow day) and yelling about who would leave Julia upstairs. My mom and dad said, "I didn't, she was playing in her play room." My brother should start cleaning his stuff (excuse me, Star Wars) since his constantly plays on the stairs. (How is that amusing?) Sorry about the late posting....I'm booked up on after school activities! :)

PT today

Ms. Kristi, Julia's physical therapist, came today. She told us that Julia is almost standing independent, but she is still at a 25% delay. (Which is normal for Downs Syndrome kids.) Julia loved to bounce up and down when she wasn't practicing any motor skills. Julia doesn't know that she won't see me tomorrow since we have school.......I feel sorry for her. Two FULL weeks of rough housing have ended. Well I'll try keeping up with this blog during school, debate team and math team practices, and homework......Bye for now! :)

Julia is the new Pet!!

(First, Julia is 15 months now not 18. Last post was false. I've changed it.)

She follows me around.
I go to the kitchen, she follows nearby.
To the bathroom? She waits right outside,
Up/downstairs? She waits at the foot of the first two steps.
Julia, my Julia.

SORRY

I'm sorry about my bad posting, but to update some things.....Julia is 15 months, standing up, and she knows who is who. She now has long hair in the back, and she loves to follow everyone around the house. For followers: thank you for still keeping reading even though I'm awful at posting. :)

Playing with Friends!!

Yesterday our friends came back from vacation, and they stopped by to meet us. They went away for 7 weeks, and Julia didn't remember them. But after a while one of the children, Anna, went to play with Julia, she didn't feel shy anymore. AND WOAH!! Julia went haywire and crawled from room to room, sang some lullabies, and played. Shyness is not an option for Julia!!

Caterpillar Julia!

Julia is crawling around the house as a caterpillar!! I promise to put a movie of it.:)
When one of my very best friend came, Julia started to crawl around the whole house! And guess who had to follow her around? ME!!! She knows this house like the back of her hand!! Too bad we are moving.....she will have more adventures finding out the new house. Unfortunately, we will have trouble finding her! :(

11 months!!

On July 17, Julia turned 11 months!! Now she is an old munchkin! (We call her that.) One more month till her first birthday!! She is now:

-Crawling
-A diet of way more table foods than baby food.
-Sitting up by herself.
-Pushing up by herself to sit.
-Feeding herself. (almost)
-Two teeth growing.
-Talking like crazy!!
-Knows what she likes.
-Smiling to everyone!!
